Skaters will learn the FUNdamentals basics of skating with coaches certified with USFSA to teach hockey, figure, freestyle, dance and recreational skating. Class placement is based on ability and age. Students also learn to have self-confidence, to respect other skaters, share the ice, and avoid collisions. Skaters will be tested during each session and badges will be awarded at each basic skill level is passed.
Snowplow Sam Tots Class – Beginners (Ages 3-6)
The introductory classes are divided into four progressive levels for kids with no prior skating experience to build confidence in skating and themselves. Fun and games make this positive experience for your kids enjoyable and memorable.
Basic Skills Class (Ages 7 and 12) Hockey, Figure Skating, & Recreational
The Basic Skills class is for those who are familiar with ice skating and can skate on their own or are just learning. All skaters will progress at their own pace working toward mastering each skill.
Active Start encourages skaters to trade in hesitation for excitement as they grow a love for skating.
Adult/Teen Class (Ages 13 and up) Hockey, Figure Skating, & Recreational
The Adult/Teen class is for those who are familiar with ice skating and can skate on their own or are just learning. All skaters will progress at their own pace working toward mastering each skill. In this class, our coaches will focus on skating and also fitness providing a great workout.
Jr Club (PreFreeskate to Freeskate 6) Class Non-Competitive
Each Free Skate level is divided into three sections: skating skills, spins, and jumps. The levels are designed to give skaters a strong foundation and it is at this point the skater can choose to pursue a recreational or competitive approach to the sport of figure skating.
We are excited to get back on the ice for a full fun season and ready to SKATE!!!
