USFSA "Learn to Skate" Program
Our Club provides the United States Figure Skating Association's "Learn to Skate" program for our Basic Skills skaters. We have skaters as young as three years old through adulthood. The program enphasizes proper technique of the basic skills of skating; from how to fall down and get up through a Freestyle program learning basic figure skating jumps. We provide a professional coaching staff, and Junior Coaches are available for extra help.
First 9 Week Session: Sept. 11 to Nov. 6
Second 9 Week Session: Nov. 13 to Jan 29
Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 pm
(Sessions are divided into 30-minute lesson/30-minute practice time.)
and/or
Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 6:00 pm
(Sessions are divided into 15-minute lesson/15-minute practice time.)
Basic Skills Registration Form Jr. Club Registration Form
OFSC annual dues, which includes USFSA dues and insurance, is $20 for Basic Skills and $25 for Jr. Club. This fee only needs to be paid one time annually in the fall. You may register for one or both sessions. Make checks payable to OFSC.
